One of the skills I have developed over the years is jugaad – a Hindi word for improvised or innovative repair of something broken, usually on a limited budget. I have also been told numerous times that I do not have functional fixity. Functional fixity is when a person who considers a thing should only be used in the way it originally was designed to be used. Things can be used in different ways to accomplish what is needed! With some thought and experience I have found that inexpensive solutions can be found to many of the problems in our lives.
Check out pictures of various projects I have accomplished. To get in touch, contact me on my site or through my Facebook page. Even if you have an “impossible” project, feel free to ask me about tackling it.

- Installing planters & trellises
- Putting up shelving
- Demolition and/or Clean-up
Honey-Do Services
These are the chores that you need help with either because you don’t like doing them, or maybe you don’t have the time.
- Assembling furniture and items bought from a store (Think IKEA)
- Patio Furniture (put away in fall / take out in spring)
- Picking up groceries
- Changing light bulbs
- Being that “extra hand” with some task that requires two people
